Born in Haifa, based in Berlin-Neukölln since 2021. Working in oil paint, gouache, ink, and coloured pencil — observational drawings and paintings of people at rest, in parks, among friends, with lovers.
The work sits in quiet tension with the world it depicts. In a society that measures human worth by output and consumption, images of people doing nothing — lying in the sun, talking, simply being — become a form of resistance. Not protest, but refusal: a decolonisation of time and attention, reclaimed from the logic of productivity. There is something existentialist in this too — the search for meaning not in achievement or accumulation, but in the texture of an ordinary afternoon. These are not escapist images. They are arguments. Influenced by German Expressionism and the New Barbizon collective of her teacher Anna Lukashensky.
